Rocket Racing League

What can I say? This is every young boy's dream...to fly a rocket powered aircraft! I'm not really competitive or boastful (says the former Washington State Champion All-Around Gymnast). I just want to help push the development of space travel. If I have to throw out some of my old Alpine and Telemark ski racing trophies to make room for the new rocket racing cup trophy, I will, but it is really the idea that we will be opening up the final unlimited frontier of space that really floats my boat.

When I dream at night I can see the other X-Racer pilots through the rearview mirror as I cross the finish line!

The amazing thing is that the rocket racing league will be an incubator; an exciting, fan supported endeavor that will prove the technologies to make sub-orbital and eventually orbital space travel safer, cheaper, more efficient, and fun - like NASA on steroids!

To those who say it is merely a stunt, a show, or a new thrill for adrenaline junkies, I ask: How great a debt – in ignorance – they owe to the explorers of the past? What I see is a means to reach a difficult, but attainable goal. The goal of efficient access to space that governments and big businesses have been trying to solve for decades is achievable using enthusiastic support from people who want to have fun, see progress and are willing to pay for it.

The sky is no longer the limit! www.rocketracingleague.com

"Before my grandfather flew across the Atlantic, people who flew in planes were called daredevils and barnstormers and flyin' fools. After he flew across the Atlantic people who flew in planes were called pilots and passengers. That is the shift in perspective that we are applying to the future"
