" We are fortunate to live in this age of technology when many of us will be given a second chance at life. I went from a life that consisted mostly of sitting, and in considerable pain, to sea survival training and long distance flights. I can work now, I can travel, and in my own way, I believe I can help change the world. That gift of hope is truly profound."
